The jewel tones of Imperial Russia were my ispiration for this bed - sitting room at the Southhampton Design Showhouse a few years back. Perhaps not exactly in the spirit of Southampton decorating, it was a lot of fun to do. The style of the house, one of the original "old properties" built in a more elegant era lent itself to an extravagant color palette.
